What is True Witness Ministry (TWM) and why was it created?True Witness Ministry is a Torah-adherent, messianic, evangelism ministry dedicated to assembling, teaching, training, and sending forth members of the body of Yeshua to preach the gospel across the United States and worldwide. Our primary goal is to amass trained disciples to coordinate consistent evangelism outings designed to inform the public of Yahovah, the importance of His Torah, and encourage discipleship to Yeshua. TWM was created to fill the need for Christians to collectively carry out the Great Commission as described by Yeshua in Mathew 28:18-20.

How does the ministry work?Where ever ministry members are located throughout the nation or worldwide, they will coordinate through an area representative to conduct a ministry outing or event. Local members will strive to evangelize and recruit individuals for the body of Christ as a whole and for the organization. The purpose is to build strong, consistent evangelism teams to spead the gospel and build the kingdom.

Where is TWM headquartered?TWM's home office is in Dallas, TX.

When did TWM come into existence?TWM became a functioning ministry recognized by the State of Texas in April 2016.

Is TWM a 501c3 organization?Currently TWM is not a 501c3 organization and has no plans to become one in the future. TWM is not a 501c3 because this will classify TWM as a government organization and limit the activities that TWM can participate in and topics that the ministry can speak for or against.

Does TWM operate in states other than Texas?TWM is designed to operate as a global ministry. Where ever members live, they can begin to evangelize and recuit thus building the kingdom of Yah and the organization.

Who oversees the ministry?TWM is overseen by founder and CEO, Christopher Harris. As the ministry grows a Board of Trustees will be developed to help with the growing demands and direction of the ministry.

Is the ministry connected to a certain church or denomination?No, as there are no denominations within the body of Yeshua; therefore, there was no need to be connected to a particular denomination. The ministry is available to all who believe in Yeshua regardless of church or denomination.

Does the ministry promote certain rules?As a Bible-based organization, TWM adheres to the commandments, laws, statutes and judgements within the Old and New Testament to govern the activities of the ministry and its members. Overall, ministry members should conduct themselves in a manner that positively represents the Kingdom of Yah and is safe for all those involved. How do I become a member of TWM?All persons who want to become members of TWM must be at lest 18 years of age, a confessed believer of Christ, and sign an enrollment and release of liability form. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a release form signed by a parent or guardian. That release form must be mailed to the TWM headquarters. Once the form is recieved, individuals will be contacted with confirmation of their membership status.

Can a membership be denied or revoked?TWM reserves the right to deny a individuals application for membership as well as revoke an individual's membership at anytime. Revocation is considered when the member's actions are contrary to the Holy Bible, deemed harmful to other members, and/or the organization itself. Actions must be observed, documented, and the offending member must be made aware of their actions and consequences before revocation will be considered.

What are the benefits of becoming a member of TWM?As a member, individuals can participate in all scheduled ministry outings and events, submit suggestions for ministry outings/events and apply for any open positions within TWM.

Can I participate in TWM outings as a non-member?No, because of liability purposes. We ask that only those persons who are members participate in outings. Non-members can attend TWM events.

Can children participate in TWM outings?Parents who wish to bring children to TWM outings must add all children who they would like to participate to their enrollment form. No child can participate without their name on their parents' enrollment form. Individuals who bring their children do so with the full understanding that they are responsible for the welfare and supervision of their children.

Is there a membership fee for TWM?No, there is not a membership fee for TWM. However, we do require members to purchase a t-shirt for ministry outings. For those who don't have the funds the ministry will assist as much as possible.

Why do I have to sign a release to go out and evangelize?By signing the release individuals are acknowledging that they have voluntarily agreed to join this ministry and to participant in its evangelism efforts. Furthermore, individuals are agreeing to not hold the ministry accountable for any personal injury or damage to personal property while engaged in a ministry outing/event. Individuals are under no obligation to participant in any ministry outing in which they feel uncomfortable. Individuals maintain their membership to TWM no matter how many ministry outings in which they participate.

How often must I participate in ministry outings/events to still be considered a member of TWM?Within TWM, membership status will never be based upon participation, as members reserve the right to participate in as many outings/events as they choose. Membership to TWM will be ongoing until individuals state in writing they no longer wish to be considered a member or TWM deems it necessary to revoke membership.

What is a TWM event?A TWM event is a planned activity involving members but does not involve evangelism specifically. An example is a TWM cookout or fellowship in observance of Yah's Feast Days. Invitation of non-members to such events is encouraged as these events provide a good atmosphere to recruit.

What is a TWM outing?A TWM outing is when two or more members are conducting a planned evangelism activity.

When will TWM evangelism outings take place?Evangelism outings will primarily take place on Sundays, but will expand to other days of the week as personnel become available or if a special event is planned.

How often will TWM have outings?TWM will have evangelism outings as often as possible. The ultimate goal is to have an evagelism outing every weekend throughout the year.

How often should members plan to evangelize?TWM encourages members to evangelize at least once a month. The ultimate goal of TWM is to have a daily evangelism outings throughout the year, utilizing it members according to their availability.

How long will the evangelism outings last?Members should plan to be out for at least 3 hours, but members are able to leave whenever. For safety, no member should ever be left to evangelize alone. If there are only two members on an evangelism outing, if one member has to leave the other should also.

Where will outings take place?Evangelism outing will primarily take place in neighborhoods and apartment complexes and from time to time street intersections will be utilized. Special event outings will be at certain businesses, parades, festivals or wherever Yah leads the ministry to evangelize.

Can I suggest a location for a TWM evangelism outing?Members of TWM you are permitted to suggestion a location and are highly encouraged to do so. All suggestions should be emailed to TWM detailing time, date, and location. At TWM meetings we will discuss the the target location(s) for the week.

What time will TWM outings take place?TWM ministry outings will take place between the hours of sunrise and sunset. Special circumstances may arise that will cause members to be out earlier or later than these times. If this occurs the area representative organizing the outing should clearly discuss this with all participants.

How many members will go on TWM outings?As many members as available, but never less than two.

Can members go out alone?Evangelism is every believers' right. TWM in no way will try to regulate an individual's evangelism efforts. However, TWM strongly discourages evangelizing alone. Evangelism outings should always be done with at least two members for safety and effectiveness. If a member of TWM chooses to evangelize alone we pray that he or she does so in a well lit area in which they are familiar.

What should I wear on a TWM outing?Besides a TWM shirt, a member should try to wear business casual attire or at least clothing suitable for the weather. As the weather changes, TWM will do all it can to provide additional clothing such as hats and hoodies.

Can I wear clothing that supports my church on a TWM outing?We ask that every member participating in a TWM evangelism outing wear a TWM shirt. Uniform attire amongst members helps with the overall unified look of the ministry. A uniform look also adds to the safety of individuals as members can easily be spotted within a crowd.

Can I promote my church while on a TWM outing?Members are encouraged to promote their church while on TWM evangelism outings. Members are encouraged to bring along flyer, tracts or whatever may assist with the evangelism efforts. We all come from different backgrounds therefore, we must allow Yah room to use what ever ministry He deems best to grow new converts in the faith. TWM's focus as a ministry is not to promote a particular church or denomination but to promote salvation through Yeshua and a Yah-centered life.

Can I bring along posters and banners with me on a TWM outing?Posters and banners are allowed however, the message must be approved by ministry leadership prior to use.

Will the ministry provide members with any materials?TWM will provide members with downloadable flyers that can be distributed at outings/events. Members are encouraged to design their own flyer but must submit it for approval before distribution. However, the greatest evangelism tool is a members' own testimony so we advise members not to take too many materials that may distract from the true message...the gospel.

Do I have to belong to a church to be a member of TWM?Due to church membership being defined differently amongst denominations, it is not a requirement for individuals to be church members to be a member of TWM but it is strongly encouraged for their continued growth as a believer. TWM encourages individuals without a church home to link up with the churches that are affiliates with TWM.
